How it works
Get the installer from skripcy.com (Windows).
A normal Windows account is enough; no administrator rights.
Enter your email: every feature, free for 3 days.
Open the Styler, choose your look, press Apply.
Your documents
Skripcy works inside Word on your own computer. The text of your thesis, report or book is never sent to our server, unless you yourself attach the document when you send a report with Report a bug: it is then used only to fix that problem and deleted after 60 days. Only your account, your PC id and payments are checked online. Reference look-ups send the search words you type (a DOI or a title) straight to public services such as Crossref.
Skripcy formats; it does not write. It styles the document you wrote yourself and does not replace the guideline that applies to you (your campus, journal, publisher or office).

No. Skripcy styles and numbers what you wrote: styles, headings, lists, captions, contents and references. It does not write text or change its meaning.
Microsoft 365, Office 2021 and Office 2024 on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). 64-bit Word is recommended; on 32-bit Word, keep documents below about 300 pages (File › Account › About Word shows which one you have). Word 2016/2019, Word for Mac and Word in the browser are not supported yet.
Not yet. Word for Mac needs a different kind of add-in; it is planned after the Windows release.
Prepaid passes of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months through DOKU: bank transfer (virtual account), e-wallet or card; QRIS (GoPay, OVO, DANA, ShopeePay and bank apps) is coming soon. From outside Indonesia, pay in US dollars through Lemon Squeezy. No automatic renewal.
Yes, once your friend pays. Share the invite link from your account page. When a friend who joined through it pays for their first pass, you both get 30 extra days. A sign-up or a trial alone gives nothing.
Yes. Skripcy needs the internet to sign in. After that it works until your pass ends, with or without a connection, even if our server cannot be reached. When it is online, it refreshes the licence by itself once a day.
Every Skripcy feature button is switched off until you renew. Your documents are not changed or locked; they open and edit in ordinary Word on any PC.
Most Skripcy commands undo with one Ctrl+Z in Word, with exceptions. Fast Apply (a choice in Settings) saves the document first, then closes and reopens its file, so Ctrl+Z cannot undo that Apply; instead Skripcy keeps a copy of the file from before the Apply (the last three per document) in Settings › Your data › Backups. Refresh formatting runs as Word's own Ctrl+A, F9, so Word undoes it step by step. Keep a backup of your document all the same.
